Cake Topper by Switchum Cake Topper by Switchum
originally sculpted in wax, casted in resin. 7 inches tall with wooden round base. Made this for my buddy' wedding as a wedding gift. I did not have money. It is a cake topper. I was gonna title, "Game Over" But I am already disliked by his wife so decided not to.

Cake Topper by ~Switchum Hand in hand and happily ever after, this sculpture thoughtfully and uniquely celebrates the marriage of the artist's friend. A beautiful and special gift indeed. ( Featured by LabyrinthCreations )

O.O oh man... That's crazy.

I don't think it'll put anyone out of business though. In my experience people prefer to go to actual artists they know and such for these kinds of things :)

Maybe. I am sure some people would prefer physical craftspersonship, however price is the problem. I can give them the same quality of products but it will take way more time than the machine would. I will not be able to compete.
Many action figure companies already employs 3D scan machines to get figures made. They cut down the numbers of house sculptors, needless to say.
So all comes down to marketing. Haha

Yea I could see why factories and people who want something simple and easy wuld use a machine, but in the end when someones looking for something more personal theyre more likely to come to someone of your talent :)

No, to not make the title "Game Over".

Cardinal rule of being a best man: You shall not get on the bad side of your friend's missus :XD:
